last Friday the mixed football team played a tense and very challenging game of football against moreland primary school the scores were 72 to 48 in our favour some of the highlights were the girls effort and adrs rams game they played well. i would also like to thank the parents who came and watched and Mr F for coaching us i hope we go well this week against St Bernards
On Tuesday the 20th of May we went to Swan Hill for camp. We went by train it was a long trip but very fun. When we arrived we had lunch and then we went into our cabins in my cabin it was me Mard, Jacb Adrs\Godzilla Phip and Joag. We had a lot of fun. Then we went to the Pioneer Settlement. It is a lot like Sovereign Hill, we did a lot of actives there.
My favourite activity was the sound and light show. It was fun we saw 8 possums and the way they set it out it was very good. I also liked the paddle steamer ride it was a good 45 minute ride we saw some people on the bank fishing and camping it was a good experience for my last year at Pascoe Vale Primary School.
I didn’t like the food or the cabins and the bathrooms. Some of the activates were very boring and did not really want to go to sleep because of all the rodents and the cabins were really old and in the bunks there was cracks in them. The food was also processed and wasn’t very nice but we had to eat it because there was no other food.
I have never been to Swan hill and it was a great experience other than the downs. I wish it was a lot more comfortable than it was and if the food was a lot nicer then it would have been a lot better than it was otherwise it was pretty good.
Yesterday it was ride to school day and I rode my bike and got some apple and a sticker. at lunch time I didn’t ride my bike around the course because I wanted to play football instead but when the bell went I rode home.
I go to climb up Uluru with lots of roos around the hot ness a sweat is dripping down trying to beat dad up a burning rock on a 50 day not very bright hay dad beats me to the top looking for a drop now need to get back down landing is the doubt now go home and have to give the green back so now I can’t buy the game so angry I go and play
In my opinion I think you should not be able to keep wild animals because their wild and are dangerous. You cannot trust them un less you train them and they are wild and will try and kill things so they can stay alive and they will not be in their right habitat.
Firstly they could turn on you if you haven’t trained them right and some animals need to be in their habitat to survive and you can’t buy the food from pet shops I know you can give big pieces of meat but you need big fences so maybe it’s not a good idea.
Secondly like you’re going get a lion from Africa and take it over the plane and back to your house get real guys. good luck taking it for a walk around the block. but if you have the right amount of space the right food and it is safe to go in your back yard without getting my arm taken off ok good luck training it.
Thirdly don’t get wild animals I think I have said why if you disagree that’s not my problem if you want to be killed buy your own so called pet lion you go do that.
In conclusion I think don’t get a wild animal as a pet get real guys seriously
INTRODUCTION- In my option I suggest that junk food should not be banned from lunch boxes. Once in a while you need a treat, at least 1 small treat a day is a reasonable amount. Does the food pyramid say no junk food? And does research say no junk food? NO, it suggests a balanced and healthy diet with everything in moderation.
P1- If you have a lot of junk food every day you will become unhealthy. No one wants to be unhealthy. Everyone needs a sugars and carbohydrates in their diet to survive. Without these your body cannot function properly. Sugars convert to energy that your body will then burn when you exercise.
P2- Having 2 or 3 packets of chips a day is too many, chocolate bars and sweet biscuits is too much. This argument should not be about a ban, it should be about moderation.
P3- Junk food should not be banned because unhealthy food causes more rubbish but if you want to have some junk food you need to be responsible with rubbish from food.
Conclusion- In conclusion I strongly feel that junk food should not be banned. Look at the food pyramid how is banning junk food from a lunch box taking the food pyramid into consideration. Therefor a ban is not necessary perhaps greater education and guide lines around what is appropriate for a lunch box is what is needed.
Cross Country is a sport that you have to run about 2 km there are different age groups so in my age group you have to run 2 km up steep hills and muddy tracks also hot days very hard.
Yesterday i did Cross Country i came 13th i ran with Jacb rams jarh sams spuh we all did very well but only two of us made it to the next level that was me and jacb.
Today the boys Softball team played a fun and easy game of softball the scores where 18 to 4 in our favour. some of the highlights where everyones fielding and batting they were all big hits.
i would like to theank Mr F and Mrs E for coaching us and umpiring they have helped us well in the season and the boys and girls team have both improved alot.
Cricket
Cricket is a sport that is played all around the world in cricket there are eleven men and then the twelve man. There are two umpires one that stands at the bowlers end and the other one stands at square leg. There is 1 wicket keeper 1 bowler that bowls 6 and then he swaps. Then there is slips there are normally 3 slips. The fasted bowl in the world is 162cliks bowled by Shoaib Akhtar (Pakistan). The main shots that are played are the on, off and straight drive, a pull shot and a cut shot, a hook shot and a block shot.
